BOCK FEST 2015 ANNOUNCEMENT
Sly Fox Brewing Company is planning on moving its annual Bock Festival and Goat Race, awarded Philadelphia's Best Beer Festival in consecutive years, to the brewery's Pottstown location.
In May 2014, East Pikeland Township communicated to Sly Fox Brewing Company that the event had become too large to be held in its current location and suggested that an alternative site should be located for future events.
The beautiful pasture next to the state-of-the-art production facility in Pottstown is the brewery's most logical alternative. Sly Fox Brewing Company is currently working with the Borough of Pottstown on coordinating parking and other logistical aspects for the event.
Sly Fox Brewing Company and the Phoenixville Brewhouse and Eatery would like to take this opportunity to officially extend our thanks to East Pikeland Township and the Phoenixville Borough for their many years of support, as well as the Kimberton Fire Company and neighboring businesses in the Phoenixville area.
The brewery hopes that a new location will provide the opportunity to grow and improve the event and looks forward to the 2015 Bock Fest and Goat Race in Pottstown.
