Sly Fox Announces Closure of Highline Location in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — Sly Fox Brewing Company today announced that its pub and brewery
location at the The Highline on Pittsburgh’s South Side will be closed effective Wednesday,
February 25.

Since opening at The Highline in 2022, Sly Fox has been proud to contribute to the continued
revitalization of this historic property. The company remains confident in the long-term vision
and success of the Highline project.

While encouraged by the continued development of The Highline, evolving market conditions
and performance trends made it difficult to maintain the level of operations required for long-
term success. After long consideration, the decision was made to close.

“We are incredibly grateful to our loyal guests, our hardworking front-of-house and back-of-
house team members, and our managers who made Sly Fox at The Highline such a special
place,” said John Giannopoulos, CEO of Sly Fox Brewing Co. “Their dedication and passion
brought energy to the space every single day.”

The Highline property will welcome a new tenant this summer, ensuring the space continues to
be an active and vibrant destination on the South Side.

Sly Fox invites guests to visit its Downtown Pittsburgh pub, located right near Point State Park
at 300 Liberty Ave, to enjoy a fantastic lineup of craft beers, brick oven pizzas, and seasonal
offerings. With warmer weather ahead, guests can look forward to outdoor seating on the wrap
around patio.
