Have you Heard about the Sly Fox Track Club?
It's an all purpose Running Club under the direction of Chris Bayless, Head Coach of the Men's & Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams at Ursinus College in Collegeville.
"We have organized group runs, track workouts, and will have races and track meets throughout the year as well," says Bayless. "Members get discounts at races, GNC, and the local running store."

The Club's first big event will be on New Year's Day 2014, the Hangover Classic 5K, which starts and finishes at the Sly Fox Brewery at 331 Circle of Progress Drive in Pottstown. Registration at the brewery starts at 10:30am and the race itself goes off at noon. The entry fee is $25 if postmarked by Dec. 23, and $30 thereafter, including race day. Sly Fox Track Club members enjoy a discounted rate of $18 by 12/23, and $20 afterwards (see below for how to join).

The Hangover Classic will start and finish at the brewery and is run over a 3 loop, wheel-measured course, which will be great for spectators. There will be a time clock at the finish to provide instant results and the race will be run rain or shine. Awards will be given to top male and female runners in pre-determined age groups. Pre-registrants (by Dec. 23) will receive a Tech T-shirt and there will be one free beer for each runner over age 21 after the race is done.

Membership fee for the Sly Fox Track Club is $25 annually.
