Sly Fox partners with Applecross Country Club

The new Jack Nicklaus designed Private Club will be pouring Sly Fox beer at the club house bar, as well as serving Sly Fox cans at the snack pavilion and golf course refreshment cart.

Applecross Country Club, located on the outskirts of Downingtown, is a growing new community. The Club and Sly Fox have agreed to team up on fun events such as, a bus trip to Philadelphia for Philly Beer Week featuring Sly Fox, and other local events like a five-course beer tasting at Applecross hosted by Patrick Mullin, Sly Fox General Sales Manager.

The first event is to be held on May 18th at Applecross Country Club. "Tastin' at the Tee" will be a beer sampling featuring Sly Fox beer that will be sold at the restaurant and on the course. Pete Giannopoulos, founding partner of Sly Fox and his wife Mary, will host it. Everyone, including golfers setting out to enjoy the beautiful golf course, is invited to taste the best beer in Pennsylvania.

Sly Fox and Applecross will also be hosting a Fourth of July party and charity event for the Wounded Warrior Foundation at United Sports featuring Sly Fox Home Front IPA. "We hope to have at least one event per season including Oktoberfest this fall and a Holiday Bash this upcoming winter," said Justin Meyers, Country Club General Manager.
