AN EXTRAORDINARY BEER LIST WILL BE FEATURED AT SLY FOX PHOENIXVILLE FOR THE MARCH 14 PHLLY BEER WEEK PUB CRAWL
On Saturday, March 14, participants in the first-ever Phoenixville Pub Crawl will find an impressive lineup of beers awaiting them at Sly Fox Brewhouse & Eatery in Pikeland Village Square.

As previously announced, William Reed, co-founder of the acclaimed Philadelphia gastropub, The Standard Tap, who formulated and brewed Standard Ale with brewmaster Brian O'Reilly for the initial PBW will be on hand that afternoon as 2009 Standard Ale will be featured as one of three cask ales on the pub's three handpumps. The other cask beers will be British Pale Ale (brewed as the Fifth Anniversary beer for TJ's Restaurant & Drinkery in Paoli) and Placebo, the new beer made from the second runnings of Panacea Barleywine.

That should be enough to delight Sly Fox fans everywhere, but brewery operations manager has pulled all the stops for the tap list:

Helles Lager
Pikeland Pils
O'Reilly's Stout
Pughtown Porter
Abbey Xtra
Vienna Lager
Panacea Barleywine
Seamus Irish Red Ale
Schwarzbier
Odyssey Imperial IPA
Ichor Quadrupel
Sovereign Pale Ale (Hop Project 2009)

Ohst says that the list "is subject to change if a few other beers are ready in time for us to pour them." This story will be updated to reflect any changes right up to the day of the Pub Crawl.
