Return to the Sly Fox Beer Legacy News Archive

Sly Fox Brewing Co. announced today that it will add its popular Rt. 113 IPA to its canned beer portfolio this spring. The news was broken on the Sly Fox Facebook page.

Available only in 22oz bottles at present, Rt. 113 was the beer customers most requested be added to the brewery's canned releases, said brewmaster Brian O'Reilly, "and the time seemed right to answer their call, especially since we just reopened the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania market and expect to see an increasing demand for all our beers."

Rt. 113 will join Pikeland Pilsner and Phoenix Pale Ale as year-round releases and also still be packaged in the 22oz size. "They're selling better now than ever, just not as fast as do our canned beers. As long as sales hold up, we'll be happy," said O'Reilly.

All three year-round beers will also be available in 24/12 loose cases, sixpack cases and a variety 12-pack. The two seasonals, Royal Weisse (spring and summer) and Dunkel Lager (fall and winter) will continue to be available in sixpacks cases and 24/12 single cases.
