Packaging Operator

About the Role

Sly Fox Brewing Company, a respected regional craft brewer with over 3 decades of business, is looking to expand its production team and needs a smart, hard-working individual for an entry level position in the packaging area. This job is full-time and based at our production brewery in Pottstown, PA.

Rate: $16.50/hour (or higher with commensurate experience)

The packaging team is currently scheduled Monday-Friday starting at 7:30 am, scheduled for 8-hour shifts. Primary responsibilities will be working on our canning line packing out and palletizing cases of beer and utilizing equipment such as our six-packer and cartoner, as well as operating our keg filler. This position may include driving company vehicles to make deliveries and pickups.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

* Ability to work on feet for 8+ hours at a time.

* Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.

* Ability to work in hot and cold environments.

* Ability to work near moving mechanical parts.

* Ability to work and communicate in a moderate noise level (under 85 decibels).
