A copper-colored, medium-bodied beer named in honor of German immigrants from Pennsylvania who carried lager yeast to California during the Gold Rush, leading to the creation of steam beer, which is brewed with lager yeast at ale temperatures and is one of only two beer styles created in America. Brewed with British pale and crystal malts and German hops.
