Nelson Sauvin IPA
Nelson Sauvin is a variety of hop grown in New Zealand. It is not widely used here in the U.S. but we've decided to experiment with it because of it's fantastic citrus flavor and aroma. Early trials with Nelson Sauvin immediately revealed it to be somewhat different in its brewing character than other hop cultivars. This variety imparts certain grape like flavors to the beer similar to Sauvignon Blanc wine, hence the name.
